Pawn Stars: Rick's "So Called Buddies" And Rick's "So Called Experts"?

How much do we know about these "So called" experts and buddies of Rick? I have watched this show for years  and sometimes I get that feeling that Rick buddies/experts are there to just  help Rick get a better deal for a low end number. Not to help the costumer find out what the true value of there stuff is worth but to help Rick cheat the costumer.

It's fixed in the Pawn Shops favor no denying that.

I'm not sure if anyone feels like that, but I often do, when I watch this show.
